Psychoeducational Testing Services Rubin Educational Resources specializes in diagnostic testing in academic achievement, intelligence, vocational interests, learning styles, learning disabilities, attention deficits, and emotional/behavioral problems. Our testing services provide psychoeducational evaluations administered in a comfortable, relaxed environment. Kim carefully evaluates each client's abilities and reviews all previous testing and relevant information. Her comprehensive reports provide specific recommendations for remediation and the documentation required for accommodations in public and/or private schools. Psychoeducational Evaluations Include:
Kim A. Rubin, M.A., LMSW, LPCC, NCSP, CEP, LED has over thirty years experience in teaching, educational consulting, diagnostic testing, and psychotherapy. Her areas of clinical expertise include learning disabilities, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, NLD, Executive Function problems, psychiatric disorders, adoption issues, cutting, family therapy, and health-related problems. Kim holds Masters' degrees in Psychology and Special Education, and is a licensed Social Worker, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, New Mexico State Licensed Diagnostician, and Nationally Certified Educational Planner. Kim has been a licensed Diagnostician since 1980 and has conducted evaluations and reviewed testing on hundreds of students throughout the country. Her testing practice remains state of the art. She has remained current with recent developments and changes in the field of assessment and administers only the most current and up-to-date tests. Her approach to assessments is both professional and practical. Testing is done in a comfortable, casual setting over the course of 2 to 3 days. Kim believes that getting to know each client and establishing rapport is of the utmost importance. Once the testing is completed, Kim has a 2-week turn around period for parent conferences and written reports. Upon request, she is available to speak with teachers and other professionals working with the client. Professional memberships held by Kim include: IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association) full membership since 1997; National Association of School Psychologists; International Dyslexia Association (IDA); SWIDA (Southwest International Dyslexia Association), and NMLDA (New Mexico Learning Disabilities Association). |
