Getting Started With RUBIN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES

We work easily and efficiently with families throughout the U.S. and abroad. We build relationships via the Internet, telephone conferences, and meetings in our offices or in your home. Kim Rubin is sensitive to your needs and dedicated to the rebuilding of family relationships.

Our responsibilities include:
• Interview parent(s) and appropriate professionals
• Interview client, if appropriate
• Evaluate all available testing and educational records
• Place client in a wilderness program, if recommended, prior to boarding school placement
• Monitor student’s progress throughout duration of wilderness placement
• Identify 3-4 appropriate schools and/or programs
• Investigate available openings at potential placements and facilitate school/parent contacts
• Send relevant records and test results to schools
• Review school options after parent visits and provide guidance in making a school choice
• Monitor the school placement for one year

Once you begin working with us, you will be asked to sign an agreement which sets forth the terms of our proposed services, our fees, and payment arrangements. You will also need to complete a Client History Questionnaire, together with the Authorization to release Confidential Information.
