• M.S. in Educational Psychology
• L.P.C. - Licensed Professional Counselor
• Director of a small preschool for developmentally
delayed children
• Taught at both the high school and college levels
• Provided assessment services for drug and alcohol
addictions
• Worked in a community based treatment program for
seriously mentally ill adults
• Maintained private clinical practice and specialized in
helping families assess and plan for children with LD and
AD/HD needs, Tourette's Syndrome, autism, eating disorders,
drug addiction, depression and anxiety, and issues surrounding
adoption
• Married and mother of two adopted children from Paraguay,
South America
• Wilderness, Traditional, and Therapeutic Boarding School
